‘ I have always wondered if my belief in Him is a matter of lack of my Pride or a sign of weakness! ’

Well, of course I am a human being and nothing more than that. And I consider that abundance of pride in oneself is a sign of weakness and its shortage, a strength. I still don’t know the fact that why atheists gain much attention and the believers gain horns that differentiate them and entitle them as superstitious ones. Yeah it’s true that there is a very thin line between “logic and blind faith” and most of people do fall on the blind side. But that’s okay because the very essence of human is to “ fall and then learn the correct path ”. Even saints like Nanak fell and were considered weak. But if we compare the world then and world now, with decrease in belief, we find a disastrous increase in the unhappiness caused due to dis-satisfaction now.
A true atheist is also a believer! And moreover this belief is very pure. That’s why I have always respected the ones who don’t believe in God but do believe in themselves that proves their existence. I consider myself lucky to have a huge diversity of friends and observing them, I put them into 4 categories, viz. 1) The ones who believe in something other than God, 2) The ones who believe in God more than anything else but can’t ignore the facts against God, 3) The ones who don’t believe in anything but want to prove their existence, 4) The ones whose belief on God wings, depending on their materialistic desires.
People under 4 are the real cause of devastation of Religion! And people under 3 are rare but generally found in the youth. 1 are pure atheists and the most free people! But they suffer much restlessness in their brains and that’s why in the end tend towards the easier ways.

I observe the restlessness occurs in all the 4 categories and is ineludible. This restlessness drives us to find the real answers. During this tour, there are numerous instances where our brain aches like hell when it divides into two parts and these parts fights against each other. But I think we need to be patient there. The other part of our brain is always ignorant and not ready to read more about religion and its ethics. When we decide to read more and more…We reach the end. I have found various people giving so attractive logics against religion. But those logics are temporary and always transit with the passage of time!  A real logic is eternal. I don’t know where it will end. I don’t know where will I stop writing these short diaries considering them as the ultimate answers…but if I am considered weak to follow Him, I am ready to embrace my weakness and use Him as a tool of courage!

A Start..

" Those who in the name of Faith embrace illusion, Kill and are Killed! "
I had an opportunity of going through these lines once and these words easily managed to dissolve in my blood and are still flowing through me!
Frankly speaking, i don't know the exact meaning of Faith and religion. I consider myself as God fearing and not God loving, and due to human psychology, i always see myself in other persons also! Can you tell what was the exact purpose of the religion?
According to my over thinking brain, i believe that Religion defined a set of protocols that became so popular just because they could withstand the passage of centuries. Even now, if we thoroughly extract the meaning of words in "aartis, chalisa's or any other shabad's" , we will observe that they still hold true and hold morality. For instance, " JIN SEVEYA, TIN PAAYA MAAN " -these shabads(holy words) come in Japuji Sahib, the initial prayer in Sikhism. They mean that Those who serve the Name of God by meditating on Him and walking on those protocols will serve himself/herself in the end. It's quite clear that if we work upon something, we are always benefited by it, though the levels of satisfaction may vary from person to person.
The motive of sharing my feelings is that i merely want to express the mirage caused when various situations occur in our life when we've to decide that whether Religion is to be followed or not!
The key, i think is to take Religion patiently, understand it, and secretly imply it. It(Religion) is a sea of knowledge with infinite depth. And i believe there's no loss of gaining knowledge about something that was,is and will be always be true. :-)
